Title: Wholesale Logistics Manager
Classification: Nonexempt
Hourly Range*: $33.65/hr - $38.46/hr
Working Hours*: Monday through Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm
Schedule*: Onsite
Location: Carson, CA (Warehouse)
The Wholesale Logistics Manager is a key member in assisting with the day-to-day logistical functions of our Wholesale Dept located in our Warehouse office. Responsibilities will range from owning the outbound wholesale process (dropship management and management of shipments arriving in the US) with updating shipment details in the ERP system, inventory management, and communicating with vendors, logistics partners and customers’ logistics representatives. They will support the Director of Wholesale Operations, reporting any delays or inventory issues. Attention to detail, accuracy, ERP and Excel skills as well as maintaining efficiency are important for this position. Our Wholesale Logistics Manager is a very important role in the day-to-day functions of the company. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for all International outbound Logistics including Cross Dock coordination, Drop Ship coordination of Third-Party Partners and Vendor shipments to customers and to our warehouse.
- Manages communication ensuring clear and concise information to vendors, retail partners and wider Wholesale team regarding shipping, documentation, vendor compliance, and deliveries.
- Ensures accurate, smooth, and on time deliveries for all Wholesale partners. Proactively flags delays, potential issues and opportunities for process improvements.
- Responsible for communication with Wholesale customers, ensuring proper adherence to all vendor compliance manuals and guidelines.
- Will collaborate with Freight Forwarding partners to schedule and book freight shipping, communicate handover deadlines and purchase order information.
- Responsible for partnering cross functionally with production, ops and customer care as well as partnering with the warehouse on corresponding allocation and fulfillment.
- Will partner with Operations on management of shipping and forwarder inquiries.
- Will own the management of non-direct wholesale platforms (ie: VEX for Net-a-Porter) will include shipping documentation and prep, related shipping approvals and management of trackers /system updates with POD, tracing info etc.
- Responsible for all Product Certification requirements (ie: certificates of origin, content requests, HTS code updates) and cross-functional communication with other teams to ensure data accuracy.
- Work cross-functionally to problem solve, address technical issues, streamlining internal resources and processes, as they relate to shipment deliveries and planned receipts.
- Responsible for updating incoming shipment dates in ERP system by monitoring and ensuring information is entered and updated properly.
- Responsible for inventory approvals of wholesale exclusive styles.
- WiIl manage wholesale inventory and validation processes.
- Responsible for issuing and tracking credit memos and chargebacks.
- Ensure all financial commercial documents are uploaded and verified in the ERP system with verifying and submitting vendor shipping documents to Accounting on all production.
- Maintains and updates SOPS.
- Receiving Functions and ad-hoc duties as assigned
- BA/BS in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in an international logistics analysis environment, preferably with a focus in Asia sourcing (particularly China) using air and sea logistics.
- Experience in consumer retail, specifically fast fashion preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with manager, co-workers and other personnel.
- Able to follow set procedures and help identify improvements/ gaps.
- Ability to solve problems in a practical, methodical way while preserving a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in ERP – NetSuite /WMS/Shopify/Ship Station experience a plus.
- Familiarity with DHL Express and FedEx Manager.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, where managing multiple tasks is essential.
- Strong organizational skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with HTS codes, and Automated Customs Environment (ACE), AES filing requirements a plus.
- Advanced Excel Skills preferred, Basic Excel Skills required.
- Flexible, highly organized and a team player.
