Title: Safety Supervisor
Reports To: Human Resources Manager
Summary of Position:
Individual is responsible for all Safety functions for multiple facilities, maintaining compliance with various government entities within applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Communicate directly with company management.
Duties & Responsibilities
Daily management/implementation of safety policies, procedures, and programs
Perform safety audits on-site and on Service and Installation projects
Management of safety committee. Conducting monthly toolbox meetings
Manage worker’s compensation programs
Accident investigation and applicable countermeasure development
Daily management of ISNetworld Safety Database for multiple customers
Generate applicable reports
Works closely on a day-to-day basis with management
Maintain compliance with OSHA, and other applicable entities
Complete contractor safety packets required for customer compliance
Manage employee safety training programs
Assist with management of fleet safety and DOT programs
Management of Hazcom/SDS program
Review injury rates and trends, with an ultimate goal of zero injuries
Other responsibilities as assigned by Human Resources Manager/Upper management
Conduct annual fire/tornado drills, and environmental testing
Perform powered industrial lift training. Maintaining licenses for employees

Required Skills & Experience
Must possess proven leadership ability
Must be a self-starter with a strong ability to multi-task
Strong knowledge of relevant computer applications
3-5 years of experience in the industrial safety field
Must have excellent organization and prioritizing skills
Attention to detail and accuracy a must
Must be able to adhere to confidentiality
Must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Frequent travel required to various job sites across the U.S.
Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
