Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee daily operations across residential, commercial, and new construction, and divisions, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Develop, implement, and optimize operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and compliance.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure smooth inter-departmental workflows, maximize productivity, and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, particularly those related to unionized workers and workplace safety.
- Oversee and direct all warehouse activities, ensuring efficient operations, accurate inventory management, and compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Lead initiatives to increase revenue generation and profitability within all departments.
- Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and support career development for team members.
- Address grievances and foster positive relationships with union representatives, ensuring adherence to collective bargaining agreements and fair labor practices.
- Assist in preparing and managing budgets for warehouse and company operations, identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Analyze operational data to implement process improvements and identify growth opportunities.
- Schedule staff effectively to meet workload demands while adhering to labor agreements.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in operations and/or warehouse management, preferably in the plumbing, construction, or HVAC industry.
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and implement strategies to maximize departmental profitability.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Strong understanding of OSHA standards, workplace safety regulations, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems, ERP software, and operational tools such as Service Titan and Google Business suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments, with union representatives, and with clients.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and process optimization.
- Physical capability to sit, stand, or move for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Agree to hold CCB and other licensing applicable.
