About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to join our team at D.F. Pray General Contractors. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of construction operations, including site preparation, excavation, and construction.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed in accordance with design plans and specifications.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in their roles.
- Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including daily logs, weekly reports, and project closeout documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field, preferably in multi-family housing construction.
- Valid Massachusetts Construction Supervisor license.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in Procore Project Management software, scheduling and job costing software, and Microsoft Office.
