Construction Yard Worker

Will have to work outside all year round.

Earlier start time

Must be comfortable driving a work truck and trailer

Perform selected office facility maintenance and is responsible for the upkeep & maintenance of the Yard, parking areas, and buildings.

Small Engine Repair a plus

-keep yard inventory neat and organized

-working alongside mechanic

-delivers needed equipment to job sites

-maintains/monitors yard fuel

-Monitor equipment and vehicles for damages or issues and schedule repairs or replacements when necessary

-cleans/organizes fleet vehicles

-part finding/research

-maintaining stock on PPE

• Create and perform inventory reports and analysis of usage
• Create, Conduct and Insure a maintenance plan for all tools and equipment.
• Organizing, Cleaning and yard Safety could include, but not limited to picking up trash as required, replacing light bulbs, tree limb maintenance, etc.
• Maintain the schedule & delivery of , tools, and supplies to job sites. This individual will load equipment, tools, and materials onto trucks and possibly deliver them to job sites if needed.
• Go to job sites and retrieve, tools, materials and return them to the yard. This individual will then inspect all equipment and tools for damages and repair them as required. In particular, all-electric tools must be checked to make sure that guards have not been removed, cords are not damaged and all moving parts are functioning properly.
• Perform routine maintenance and training on all equipment including generators, compressors, demolition saws, chipping guns, skid loaders, pumps, lasers, transits, etc. This includes regular oil changes, checking generators to make sure that they start, checking receptacles, breakers and pull ropes and replacement of filters
• Manages yard personnel as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
