Whether handling commercial insurance disputes, advising on general insurance matters, or representing portfolio owners against insurers, they prioritize clients' needs and pursue favorable outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Handle bad faith insurance claims from file to trial, including investigation, negotiations with insurance company defense lawyers and adjusters, case strategy, and litigation
- Represent clients in state and federal courts, depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations
- Review and analyze insurance policies, coverage issues, and claim denials to develop strong legal arguments
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs
- Provide counsel and risk assessment to clients regarding coverage disputes and potential litigation
- Work closely with clients, insurers, and opposing counsel to negotiate favorable outcomes and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes
- Stay current on insurance law, regulatory changes, and litigation trends
