Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and providing exceptional customer service while ensuring timely deliveries. Duties
- Operate box trucks and vans for the safe transportation of goods to various locations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred, with a valid driver's license.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience in moving or logistics is beneficial, especially in loading and unloading tasks.
- Candidates should be prepared for physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting and long hours on the road.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
