What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief IT Architect position at D&G Support Services, LLC?
Provides leadership to a team of over 35 professionals defining the core technologies necessary to meet USTRANSCOM needs including development tools and methodologies, package solutions, systems architecture, security techniques, and emerging technologies.
Develops long-term strategies and roadmaps in all architecture disciplines to meet IT and related business goals and identify risk scenarios and mitigation plans.
Monitors external evolution in technologies that will impact IT and the business and ensures adequate plans are in place to assure readiness.
Coordinates with Business-facing IT and Application Development to ensure architectural objectives of Cycle Plans are being considered.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution.
OR Bachelor’s degree (any field) One of the certifications : FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, SSCP.
10 years of technical experience with IT or IT related programs supporting DoD / Federal Agencies. Master’s Degree with at least 7 years’ experience acceptable.

Desired Skills :
Working knowledge of Data Engineering / Quality.
Java, Python, Fortify.
MVC, jQuery, C# and ASP.Net. Net / Core in Visual Studio.
EDI, XML, Web Services, SOA, Oracle.
USTC / DOD IT system knowledge.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect and / or Certified DevOps Architect (CDA).
Location :
HYBRID : 1-2 days per week at Scott AFB, balance of support remotely.
