  • GENERAL SUMMARY
  • This is a paid seasonal part-time position from June through the end of August, 2025. This position will work in the Community Relations and Development Office at New London Hospital.

    Tentative hours may consist of : 10-15 hours per week. With the potential increase to 20-25 hours during event weeks.

    • FUNCTIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    • In collaboration with the Development Program Coordinator, help with logistics of events including but not limited to : Hospital Days and Annual Benefit.

    • Assist with event coordination including pre-event promotion, preparation, outreach, implementation and post-event activities.
    • Attend events and help with on-site execution and event management, inclusive of evenings and weekends.
    • Assist with marketing to include social media, advertising and brand alignment.
    • Maintain inventory for all event and promotional supplies.
    • Assist with administrative duties including filing, data entry, scanning and photocopying.
    • Special projects and other duties as assigned.
    • POSITION REQUIREMENTS
    • Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

      Strong computer skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    • Reliable transportation.
    • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
    • The ability to conduct yourself in a professional matter at all times.
    • Evenings and weekends required on event dates.

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
