Specifies, installs, configures, and supports / maintains data network hardware, software and circuits. Assists in the planning and operational support for data communications.
Responsibilities
- Specifies, installs, configures, and supports / maintains data network hardware and software.
- Works with data communications service vendors to design and implement new network services.
- Plans and executes data network projects.
- Specifies and troubleshoots data network circuits.
- Maintains existing documentation and develops new documentation.
- Recommends and implements procedures that improve the technical services network operations for Information Services application groups and user departments.
- Serves as a technical resource for Information Services and user departments.
- Evaluates, recommends, and implements data network hardware, software, and circuits which improve the operation of Information Services.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
