DH Pace Company, Inc. will hire an experienced B2B Sales and / or Sales Manager as District Sales Manager based in Charlotte, NC. Will manage B2B sales teams who sell commercial door systems and entry door systems throughout the Carolinas.
POSITION OVERVIEW :
- Oversee all aspects of managing the Sales Team and Sales Process from inception to close for up to five offices in the Carolinas – Charlotte, Asheville, Greensboro (two offices), and Raleigh / Durham, NC.
- Work closely with the Operations, Administrative, and Purchasing Management teams to ensure a successful transition of information from Sales to these teams to maximize customer service and financial performance.
- Collaborate with the Mid-Atlantic Regional Sales Manager to establish sales objectives, while focusing efforts on achieving budgeted sales and gross profit objectives and personally maintain customer relationships and sales.
- Learn the Commercial Door Systems (CDS) and Entry Door Systems (EDS) product lines and services to effectively manage the sales team, as well as enhance both customer and vendor relationships. Develop and maintain relationships with key vendor partners in a manner that maximizes our growth and reputation.
- Call on commercial customers across various vertical markets including, but not limited to, Education, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Distribution, Transportation, Property Management, etc.
- Accompany sales reps to ensure they are reaching their full potential when engineering door solutions for customers. Engage with customers regularly to address issues / concerns and to gauge the effectiveness of the individual or team.
- Manage and improve sales processes and procedures with the objective of providing maximum profit and return with as much emphasis on customer satisfaction and return business; communicate with customers to develop sales opportunities and / or solve problems.
- Proficiency with Windows based programs (MS Excel, Word) and sales tools required; will ensure sales rep are handling the proposal process as expected to minimize errors. Effectively manage the sales team’s use and adherence to the use of our CRM system.
- Hire, train and develop new employees; improve individual performance through daily coaching, monthly sales reports, Scorecard reviews, and annual performance reviews.
- Effectively lead meetings, set performance expectations and hold employees accountable.
