What You'll Do:
You'll play a vital role in maintaining and upgrading fueling infrastructure at existing commercial and retail gas stations. Your work will ensure safe and efficient fuel delivery for businesses and customers across Nebraska.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Construction and Maintenance: Perform a variety of tasks, including concrete removal, replacement, finishing, manhole and spill containment upgrades. Install and repair fuel system components such as submersible turbine pumps (STP), under-dispenser containment (UDC) systems, drop tubes, risers, tank monitors, fuel dispensers, piping systems (steel and flexible)
- Heavy Equipment Operation: Safely operate a range of equipment, including skid steers, excavators, cranes, backhoes, compressors, and jackhammers.
- Piping: Perform pipe fusing, repair and replace existing lines in STP and UDC systems, and work with fiberglass and flexible piping.
- Electrical and Hydraulics: Maintenance of electrical systems related to fuel dispensers and submersible pumps, and knowledge of hydraulic systems
What You'll Need:
- Experience installing petroleum systems is highly desired
- Nebraska UST License is highly preferred
- Experience in construction, heavy equipment operation, or concrete work is required
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is a huge plus
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all different types of weather.
- Must be able to travel, including overnight stays; flexibility is a must.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment tests, including a background check, drug screening, DOT physical, and DMVR check. Must have an active driver's license
- High school diploma or GED is required
