What You'll Do:
- Receive daily work assignments from the Service Manager or Dispatcher, following established D&H United procedures.
- Respond to after-hours emergency service calls as part of an on-call rotation, meeting established response time parameters.
- Maintain a company vehicle and manage parts inventory.
- Inspect, repair, and maintain fuel dispensers, ensuring accurate fuel measurement and compliance with regulatory standards. This includes replacing and calibrating meter assemblies and performing periodic inspections.
- Conduct routine inspections of underground and above-ground storage tanks and lines for leaks, corrosion, and other issues, including pressure testing and leak detection.
- Install, maintain, and repair vapor recovery systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Troubleshoot and repair point-of-sale (POS) systems and fuel management software, including installing and configuring new POS terminals.
- Maintain and repair canopy lighting, signage, and price displays.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- At least one year of experience in petroleum-related service is preferred. We will consider candidates with proven troubleshooting and repair skills in low-voltage systems, such as those with experience in industrial maintenance, fire alarm/security systems, or ATM repair.
- Previous field service experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with hand tools and multimeters.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required; CDL is a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- Gilbarco Dispenser, Wayne Dispenser, Gasboy Fleet, Passport, Veeder Root, Verifone
- Apprentice or Journeyman Electrician's license, Low-voltage licenses
