Body Shop Estimator

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Shop Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing repair estimates, and providing exceptional customer service. Your expertise in automotive repair and maintenance will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction and facilitating efficient repair processes.

Duties

• Evaluate damaged vehicles and determine the extent of repairs needed.
• Prepare detailed estimates for repairs using industry-standard software.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain the repair process and costs involved.
• Upsell additional services or products that may enhance vehicle performance or appearance.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure accurate assessments and timely repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair process to foster long-term relationships.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in auto body repair.

Experience

• Proven experience in auto body repair or related fields is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanical systems.
• Experience in automotive sales or service writing is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with upselling techniques and service management practices is desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
