Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Powersports Technician to join our service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairing and maintaining a variety of powersports vehicles, including Motorcycles, ATVs, UTV’s and Sport Side by Sides. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with leading brands in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on a wide range of powersports vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire replacements, and tune-ups.
- Inspect vehicles to identify any potential problems or safety concerns.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and specifications for repairs and maintenance procedures.
- Keep accurate records of all services performed and parts used.
- Communicate effectively with Service Manager to explain repair recommendations and provide excellent customer service.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in powersports mechanics preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a powersports technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of powersports vehicles and their components, including engines, fuel systems, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
