Job Summary
We are seeking multiple non-medical drivers for early morning shifts, beginning as early as 4:00 AM to 5:00 AM. This early start time is non-negotiable; please apply only if you are comfortable with this schedule. Compensation begins at $17 per hour after a successful three-month probationary period, increasing to $18 per hour thereafter. This is 1099 contract work. SUVs are acceptable, provided they do not have excessive ground clearance. While the hourly rate is $17, your effective earnings are much higher. Your standby hours outweigh the actual physical work time. compensation will often exceed this amount due to on-call standby pay. For instance, a client transport to a doctor's office might entail a 45-minute to one-hour drive, and going and taking that client back home followed by a 3-6 hour wait.
During this waiting period, you are free to relax in your vehicle, pursue other income opportunities such as DoorDash in the vicinity, or return home until the client requires pickup if you feel like that's feasible most Importantly, compensation continues regardless of your personal activity. While direct client interaction might only consume two hours, you will be compensated for the total time commitment, which in this example could be five hours. We seek candidates capable of working up to 8-12 hours daily. As this is a 1099 position, you will receive 100% of your earnings.
