Job Summary
We are seeking a professional Contracts Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and editing contracts between our company and potential clients. This includes negotiating terms and conditions, evaluating bids, and ensuring our contracts meet all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has strong negotiation skills and proven experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Negotiate contract agreements on behalf of the company
- Evaluate existing contracts and recommend amendments when necessary
- Write, prepare, and edit contracts
- Follow up on any breach of contract
- Serve as the primary point of contact with outside parties and ensure contracts are fulfilled in compliance with the associated terms and conditions
- Remain up-to-date on legal requirements and ensure contracts are in compliance
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Contracts Specialist or in a similar role
- Training and/or certification as a Contracts Specialist is preferred
- Deep understanding of contract documents, legal specifications, and procurement regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to address complaints and concerns in a professional manner
Compensation: $120,000.00 per year
