POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the foreperson, the Motor Grader “Finish Blade Operator” should have the ability to balance a roadway prior to finish grade and final tolerance using bluetops and/or electronic blade controls. The Finish Blade Operator should be proficient at finish grading, including super curves, turn lanes, parking lots, and shoulder construction.
On the job training will provide the knowledge and skills to become a productive member of one of our crews with the potential for advancement opportunities.
This position is a full-time seasonal, working April/May through November (weather permitting). This position requires working overtime and some Saturdays. Local and regional travel opportunities are available.

Position Requirements
- Three years or more of “finish blade” experience
- Ability to understand grades from plans, slopes and identify potential conflicts
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to work in all seasonal weather and environmental conditions
- Ability to take instructions and communicate effectively to others as a team leader
