Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Superintendent to join our team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Coordinate and schedule all trades and have a general knowledge of all scopes.
- Read and interpret plans and specifications accurately.
- Support and adhere to our safety programs, which are designed to protect our employees and ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with management, owners, architects, engineers, and employees both verbally and in writing.
- Manage large teams of contractors, subcontractors, and material vendors.
Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
- General knowledge of all scopes related to general building trades, including civil and earthwork, concrete, steel erection, pre-engineered building experience, carpentry, formwork, reinforcing steel, and more.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
