Position Summary: The Midas Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting with inquiries, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth experience from start to finish. As the first point of contact for customers, you will represent the Midas brand and ensure that every customer feels valued and well-cared for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, both in person and over the phone.
- Answer customer questions regarding services, pricing, and promotions.
- Schedule service appointments and manage customer appointments in the system.
- Process customer transactions, including billing, payment, and insurance-related inquiries.
- Assist customers with any concerns, ensuring a prompt and courteous resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service requests.
- Communicate service recommendations and provide details of work completed to customers.
- Promote and upsell Midas services, products, and warranties when appropriate.
- Support the shop team in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth coordination between customer service and repair services.
- Assist with general office tasks, including filing, organizing, and maintaining customer records.
- Ensure that the customer waiting area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer service or automotive industry is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, customer management software, and point-of-sale systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements:
