Midas is seeking a Store Manager Trainee for our Indianapolis locations. The job assignment could be any of 8 locations in the Indianapolis metro area. Individuals with extensive retail automotive service and repair experience, management experience, and who are motivated to help customers keep their vehicles running smoothly are perfect candidates for these positions.
Midas Store Managers understand automotive service and repairs and can explain the technical aspects in layman's terms. Understanding the importance of preventive maintenance and necessary repairs then selling those essential services is a must. Candidates must have at least 2 years of management experience in an automotive repair/service environment and working knowledge of automotive service. (Prior automotive experience is mandatory.)
Additional Store Manager roles and responsibilities include:
- Writing customer estimates
- Scheduling appointments (via phone, text, and email)
- Ordering parts and supplies
- Supervision of the store staff
- Inventory management
Excellent phone etiquette, computer skills, and the ability to clearly communicate via text or email are requirements for this position. The Store Manager must be able to sell customers necessary services and repairs verbally and via electronic communication.
Pay is performance-based on a weekly salary and percentage of weekly gross profit. Monthly bonus potential is based on attaining gross profit goals. Additional incentives are available monthly, so a motivated Store Manager can control his or her income dependent upon store performance.
