SUMMARY : SUMMARY : The Branch Manager with HVAC and appliance experience, is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of a branch within an HVAC and Appliance distribution company. This role involves managing sales, customer service, inventory, and staff to ensure efficient operations and profitability. The Branch Manager will develop and implement sales strategies, maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, and manage the branch's financial performance. Additionally, the role requires leadership in driving team performance, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following :
- Management of store operations including administrative duties, physical inventories, price changes and store housekeeping, etc.
- Responsible for expanding the customer base in location and surrounding areas.
- Creates and builds customer relationships.
- Resolve customer problems or complaints.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure the employees also provide the same level of service.
- Accountable for the sales and “bottom-line” profits of the store.
- Adheres and enforces federal and state employment laws in conjunction with company policies and procedures.
- Manage directing the overall activities of the branch.
- Manage store revenue including cash handling, deposit reconciliation and delivery of deposits to the bank.
- Utilize labor management tools to maximize productivity profitability and margins.
- Meet and exceed branch goals annually and monthly.
- Manage in ensuring branch employees are meeting their sales goals.
- Responsible for annual employee performance reviews, more often if needed.
- Ensure interior and exterior of the store is maintained to company standards
- Attend annual branch manager’s meetings.
- Work with Corporate office to ensure documentation and paperwork is accurate and received in a timely basis.
- Managers are required to have their residence within a 60 mile radius from the branch they are responsible for. (Internal applicant, must be willing to relocate).
STANDARD HOURS :
The position of Branch Manager is classified as an exempt position and therefore you will not be required to clock in and out using the time clock. Standard hours are 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm, occasionally coming in early or staying late depending upon the business needs.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, as well as possess the following :
SKILLS and ABILITIES : Effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers, clients, customers, supplier reps and corporate employees. Must have the Ability to calculate and reconcile figures and amounts. Must be proficient in, MS Office, Word, Excel, and Internet. HVAC / Appliance Sales and Marketing experience preferred.

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE : Parts Store Management or College degree preferred with concentration in business management. A proven track record in management, leadership and sales with a minimum of five (5) years experience preferred. Knowledge of appliance parts and HVAC parts preferred but not necessary.
