D.M. Bowman, Inc's maintenance shop has an immediate need for experienced, full-time Body Shop Technician to join our growing team in Williamsport, MD. Our Body Shop Technician will get the opportunity to perform maintenance and repairs on modern aged tractors.
Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Complete major and minor cab rebuilds: repair and/or replace cab panel as necessary
- Complete major and minor hood repairs: fiberglass and (SMC) repairs and/or hood panel replacement as necessary
- Masking, priming, and blocking for paint preparation
- Complete prep work for sheet metal or sheet molded compound (SMC), etc.
- Truck interior cleaning/detail
- Installation or removal of decal letters and stripes
- Mechanical and electrical repairs
- Keep work area safe and clean
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education:
- Experience with major cab/sleeper repairs preferred
- Experience with mechanical repairs
- Experience with welding
- Must have own tools
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Working Environment:
- The technician will be working in our terminal shop/garage in Williamsport, MD
- 45 hour work week. Any hours worked over 40 would be paid as OT.
