Job Duties
As a Comprehensive Financial Planner Trainee, you will be responsible for supporting the lead advisor in various stages of the financial planning process. This will involve participating in client meetings, gathering information, inputting data into financial planning software, and assisting in preparing comprehensive financial plans. You will also aid the lead advisor in presenting financial plans to clients and assist with plan implementation and monitoring.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have 3-5 years of financial planning experience, CFP and/or Series 65 certifications, and familiarity with financial planning software and industry-specific CRMs. Experience with Advyzon, Schwab Advisor, iRebal, eMoney Advisor, Holistiplan, SSAnalyzer, and YCharts is preferred. Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaborate within a team, are also essential.
