Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment / Shop Mechanic to maintain, repair, and ensure the reliability of our rental equipment and fleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanics, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. Experience with maintaining solar panels a plus!
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on rental equipment and company vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire servicing.
- Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and is ready for deployment.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely equipment availability for customer rentals.
- Assist with shop organization, cleanliness, and tool maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during equipment inspections or repairs.
