Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supplier/manufacturer of automotive prototype, service, short-run production and production parts located in Romeo, Michigan. We have been in business since 1962.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with written instructions to fabricate rods and bars by flaring, deburring, trimming, and forming to various dimensions.
- Create tooling or assist design team with tooling needed to produce parts
- Understand X,Y,Z coordinates for creating a bend
- Metallurgy knowledge
- Bending and shaping variety of pipes and tubes to make suitable for applications
- Heat treat knowledge; cold bending experience
- Must be able to cut, saw, punch, crimp, notch and bend metal to specification.
- Understanding of dimensions and tolerances.
- Manufacturing experience / knowledge
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to work quickly and methodically
- Superior computer programming skills and reading comprehension skills
- Good math skills
- Good active listening skills
- Must have excellent time management skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of metal shop work
- Ability to read blueprints
- Experience in programming
- Knowledge of electronics and machine tools
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Hours are subject to change depending on production
- Able to work in a shop floor environment
