Position is located in Romeo.
Responsibilities can include but are not limited to:
- Operate machine tools to fabricate and manufacture parts used in the manufacturing processes
- Reads and interprets blueprints and design sketches to ensure proper dimensions and specifications for parts
- Selects the appropriate cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials to be used on machines
- Examines and measures completed units and parts to identify any defects and to ensure it conforms with predetermined specifications
- Adjusts machine controls to resolve any production errors
- Inspects machinery for any needed repairs and reports to Tool Room Manager
- Maintains cleanliness and safety of work area
- Complies with applicable safety standards and regulation
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to operate various types of machine tools to perform progressive machining
- Ability to read blueprints and plans
- Excellent mechanical skills
- Time Management skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail, a must
- Ability to work methodically to meet established deadlines
- Vocational/Technical training required
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. at a time
- Dependable
HOURS: Monday - Friday, 6 am - 4:30 pm., Saturdays may be expected from 6 am - noon.

Salary : $22 - $27
