Job Description

• Trains Quality Staff on procedures, work standards, QMS related topics
• Assists in developing schedules for the Quality Department
• Conducts performance evaluations, assists with internal routine audits, supports mgmt. with issues related to quality and safety.
• Handles discipline in accordance with Company policy
• Communicates Quality standards to the Quality team and other appropriate staff
• Reviews customer feedback
• Lead teams on continuous improvement through scarp reduction, efficiency improvements, FMEA and development.
• Maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws and policies
• Identifies and analyzes issues and defects, and other problems occurring in company products
• Answers customer assessments and submits required Quality information to customers on request
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills a must
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Proficient in computer software including Microsoft Suite, Google Drive, ERP
• Three to five years of experience in related field with supervisory experience a must
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Able to maneuver through shop facility
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. at a time
