We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza Person to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and experience in preparing high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our customers receive delicious, freshly made pizzas while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Duties

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Utilize kitchen equipment, including ovens and pizza cutters, with proficiency.
• Ensure all ingredients are fresh and properly stored, adhering to food handling guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredient levels and notifying management when supplies are low.
• Follow dietary department guidelines to accommodate special dietary needs when necessary.
• Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to clients.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred, particularly in the food service or catering sectors.
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
