What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator 1-Entry Level Days/Nights position at D.P. Tool & Machine, Inc.?
The responsibilities for the position of CNC operator are as follows:
1. Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
2. Inspect finished parts and compare them with the requirements to determine if the process is running smooth.
3. Meet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity and quality.
4. Operate production machines to produce parts in accordance with established standard and guidelines.
5. Must possess mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
6. Must have good manual dexterity and should be able to work with detailed objects.
7. Communicate effectively, clearly and concisely both orally and in writing.
8. Load, unload and deburr parts to run production.
9. Input control instruction into the CNC machines to make offsets.
10. Lifting loads, not exceeding 40lbs, twisting, turning and bending in a safe manor.
*Employment contingent on passing a hair follicle test for Schedule One Substances excluding marijuana.
*A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
*Air conditioned shop.
*First and Second Shift Positions Available
1st: Monday-Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Friday 6:00a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
