Job Title: Evening/Saturday Office Assistant-Switchboard Operator

Department: Administration

Reports To: Assistant Controller

JOB PROFILE

Operates switchboard to relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls. Provides back up for Cashier and Rental Agent by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Uses multi-line switchboard.

Answers all incoming calls with the greeting "Thank you for calling D-Patrick, how may I direct your call". When necessary, screens call to determine who it should be routed to and routes the call to the appropriate person.

Supplies information to callers and records messages.

Performs clerical duties such as typing, proofreading, and sorting mail.

Operates paging system to call individuals to phone.

Performs Cashier duty.

Performs Rental Agent duty.

Must get along with others.

Requires being at work on time and have satisfactory attendance.

Any other duties assigned by management.

Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills (verbal and written), basic computer experience, ability to work well with others, perform duties with little or no supervision, ability to read and comprehend instructions and information, professional appearance, general knowledge of fax and copy machines, good math skills and good clerical skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent and one or more years customer service experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Drivers License and good driving record.
