Job Description
The Service Manager will be responsible to engage with customers at the highest levels of satisfaction, ensuring repeat and referral business. The Service Manager will lead by example, engaging with employees, training staff to expert levels, and coordinating processes that executes our company objectives.
Duties:
- Oversee Service Advisors
- Be Aware of Customer Issues in Service Department
- Handle Customer Complaints in Service Department
- Make Sure Service Department is Running Smoothly
Experience/Education:
The Service Manager applicant must have at least 5 years of automotive experience, working as previous Service Manager/Advisor for at least two years. College degree is encouraged, not required, but formal management education is advantageous.
This job requires much standing, computer work, phone skills, and people skills. You will be asked to inspire, collaborate, demonstrate kindness, and be responsible for a profitable operation. A good candidate understands the need to create a positive and professional culture, hires people that "fit" that culture, and builds success from the talents of the individuals on their team.
