We are looking for a meticulous and responsible Invigilator / Proctor to oversee the administration of examinations and ensure a fair and secure testing environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of the examination process.
This is a contract that starts in July, 2025 with ad hoc work throughout the year, up to 30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor students during examinations to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
- Distribute examination materials and ensure that all necessary supplies are available.
- Check student IDs to verify their identity before exams.
- Provide clear instructions before the exam begins and address any questions from candidates.
- Manage the time during the examination and ensure students are aware of remaining time.
- Report any irregularities or incidents that occur during the examination.
- Assist in creating a conducive testing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education is a plus.
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service.
- Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Basic IT Skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to enforce rules impartially.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must have the legal right to work in Canada.
- Candidates must declare a criminal record extract not older than three months.
