What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Phlebotomist position at D-RAD IMAGING AND LAB?
Responsibilities:
-Phlebotomist must travel to facility and drop off samples as needed
- Perform Mobile phlebotomy procedures to collect blood samples from patients
- Ensure proper patient identification and labeling of specimens
- Follow established protocols for specimen collection, processing, and transport
- Monitor vital signs and provide basic patient care during the phlebotomy process
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Provide excellent patient service and ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure
Experience:
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a mobile phlebotomist or in a similar role
- Proficient in blood sampling techniques and venipuncture procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology, laboratory procedures, and specimen collection processing
- Familiarity with physiology and anatomy related to phlebotomy procedures
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
