What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Labor/Maintenance position at D-Riven Engineered Solutions?
The General Labor/Maintenance Worker will perform a variety of tasks which includes skilled maintenance tasks, as well as cleaning. This work will be performed on-site in a customer’s warehouse. This is a temporary position. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour and may lead to a full-time employee position.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs simple maintenance on company as well as customer equipment and devices.
- Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
- Demonstrated experience operating heavy equipment as well as mobile equipment including forklifts, scissor lifts and other lifting platforms.
- Must comply with all Company (and Customer) safety and personnel policies.
- Work is to be performed in a professional manner.
- Performs general clean up around work area.
- Performs any other duties assigned from time to time by Supervisor.
Skills & Requirements:
- Welding, cutting, bending and installation of various metals projects desired but not required.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
- Must be able to stand for up to eight hours per day, depending on task requirements.
- Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs., kneel, bend, stoop, squat, climb and crawl.
- Must be able to work occasionally from heights.
- Dependability a must.
- Must be able to concentrate on required tasks. The ability to understand and communicate information is essential.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work closely with co-workers as a Team.
- Must be able to accept direction.
- Must have reliable transportation and show up to work on time every day.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
Related experience preferred.

Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
