Your Tasks :
Responsible for technical coordination and decisions regarding technical issues in collaboration with the Senior Project Manager and the specialist departments
Leader of all technical personnel for a project (internal & external)
Coordination with project management for project schedule
Controlling of the projects to achieve minimal manufacturing costs and schedule targets
Main engineering interface regarding technique, quality, and target dates of a project
Supports / substitutes the Senior Project Manager in the case of an absence
Responsible for technical communication with the customer
Overall, responsible for the technical clarification of the project with the customer, in collaboration with the engineering areas
Your Skills :
Bachelor's degree in engineering and automotive paint facility project execution experience
Profound knowledge & experience of Paint & Final assembly Systems (PFS) such as Pre-Treatment & E-Coat systems, work decks and application systems, building utility systems, spray booths and paint application systems, ovens, coolers systems used in automotive manufacturing facilities - minimum 10 years' experience in paint shop engineering and Project Management, direct Durr product knowledge preferred
Strong leadership, negotiation, and decision-making ability
Experience in layout design management throughout project life cycle
Knowledge of fully automated paint facilities (Paint, Sealer, Liquid Applied Sound Deadener LASD application robots & circulation systems) and experience in implementing industry 4.0 solutions in new or existing paint facilities
Knowledge of explosive atmospheres & management methods in a paint shop environment
Knowledge of Failure Mode Analysis (FMEA) in an automotive manufacturing environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office : Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge & experience of using of SAP preferred
Ability to understand and maintain project schedules
Good time management & organizational skills
Good verbal communication & technical writing skills
Able to effectively communicate with engineering and estimating departments, contractors, suppliers, and customers
Able to work well independently and in a team environment
Able to technically define problems and propose solutions
