About the Position
The Auto Body Paint Prepper is a full-time position responsible for assisting the Paint Technician to refinish all assigned vehicles, following the written repair order. The Paint Prepper plays a key role in delivering on D&S' promise of timeliness, quality and customer satisfaction.
This is a full-time opportunity that works during the 8 : 00 am - 5 : 30 pm time frame, Monday through Friday. The Automotive Paint Prepper will report to the Collision Center Manager.
Essential Job Functions
- Prepare vehicles properly for paint (sanding, masking, tape, etc.)
- Polish completed vehicles
- Clean and maintain paint booth and supplies
- Assist Refinish Technician in other areas as necessary
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
