What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wheelhouse position at D&S Marine Service?
The job of wheelhouse personnel includes, but is not limited to :
- Safe operation and navigation of vessel and barges
- Ensuring the safety of crew members
- Accurate and continuous communication with all parties
- Maintaining compliance with all governmental agencies
- Working within established company policies and procedures
- Maintaining routine maintenance of vessel
Our wheelhouse work rotating schedules of 28 / 14 or 20 / 10.
Applicants must have a valid Merchant Marine Credential, Driver's License and TWIC Card.
