Job Description

Position Overview / Summary :

The Warehouse Associate position is responsible for performing various duties and responsibilities in the warehouse.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities :

Assist with the receiving of merchandise and the unloading of trucks and various containers.
Move and handle product merchandise between trucks / containers to designated storage areas.
Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing vehicles; placing orders in the delivery area.
Verify orders with customers to ensure correct products and quantities are accurate.
Pull product and merchandise for customers and store shelves replenishment.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, containers, trucks, pallet areas, and workstations neat, swept, dusted, and mopped.
Yard Safety
Ensure safe, accessible parking for all potential customers.
Sort and place materials or items, on / off pallets in containers according to organizational standards.
Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed. May also assist in counting of physical inventory.

Requirements :

High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).

May require a valid, state-issued driver license if operating moving vehicles.

Effective communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills.

Inventory maintenance.

Regularly required to use hands to fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear.

Frequently required to lift and / or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and / or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. ( Must follow safety protocols )

Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Frequently required to sit and climb or balance.

Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

Ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Analytical and critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Forklift. Pallet jack or Golf Cart (Certification / Training as required)

May require overtime and weekends to meet deadlines and during peak season.
