Responsibilities of the warehouse worker :
- Unload trucks to the warehouse
- Move product between warehouse and retail floor
- Regularly lift and / or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally and / or move objects that weigh more than 100lbs with or without equipment
- Clean entire warehouse daily
- Keep warehouse organized
- Warehouse Safety
- Ensure safe, accessible parking for all potential customers
- Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise
- Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in the delivery area
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards
- Maintains inventory by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in the counting of physical inventory
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat, swept, dusted, and mopped. Always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness
- Wear the proper safety equipment
