Workplace Description:
It's not just about a great haircut - it's the whole experience. D-Tails provides a calm environment where detailed, quality service is a priority for both customer and pet and grooming compassionately is the focal point of every service. This is a two groomers only sized facility. Pets are groomed one at a time straight through with no kenneling, ensuring that every pet receives individualized attention for their entire stay with minimal stress. Appointments have a specific drop off and pick up time window so that there is no holding time or overlap in appointments. Pets are enjoyed here as much as groomed and given lots of positive reinforcement in treats (per owner approval) and even some play time. Our clients' pets do not need to be coaxed through the door.
Responsibilities:
Cut nails, bathe, blow dry, brush/comb-out coat, and perform full body haircuts. Check in and check out clients, answer phone and schedule appointments, maintain cleanliness of facility.
Qualifications:
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients about expectations, demonstrate proficient skills in bathing, blow drying techniques, and brushing/dematting that are efficient and effective but gentle and comfortable for the pet. Familiarity with breed standard haircuts is beneficial, but experience in full body pet haircuts is required. Groomers must have good time management skills and the ability to complete 3-4 haircuts per day is necessary for entry level.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
