Meat Clerk / Butcher at D&W Fresh Market
You will be responsible for cutting all types of meats into various cuts, preparing individual servings, and trimming carcass sections. You will also follow established recipes to grind and tray meats, make sausage, and price meat products according to guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cutting meats into various types of cuts
- Cutting and weighing steaks, chops, and other meats for individual servings
- Trimming carcass sections or prime cuts to reduce to cooking cuts
- Following established recipes to grind and tray meats and make sausage and other products
- Prising, dating, wrapping and/or bagging meat products per established guidelines using department scales
- Filling, rotating and merchandising shelves, cases and displays properly
