Join Our Team as a Project Manager!
Are you an experienced construction professional looking for an exciting opportunity to lead and manage impactful projects? We are seeking a Project Manager to join our dynamic team and oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily administration of contract requirements from project start-up through closeout.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, partnering with field operations and mentoring assistant project managers.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities in the field.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, architects/engineers, and subcontractors.
- Utilize construction-based software such as Primavera, Sage, Procore, Bluebeam, etc.
- Participate in project pursuits and support estimators with purchasing when needed.
- Operate independently with minimal support from senior management.
- Work in the regional office and/or the field.
- Report directly to the Operations Manager and/or President.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in a construction-related discipline preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of commercial construction experience.
- Proven experience managing commercial projects up to $20M.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
- Strong skills in construction scheduling and planning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction-based software.
Supplemental Qualifications:
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and spreadsheet building.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling software with cost-loaded schedules.
- Certifications such as OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour, ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor, LEED Accreditation, or PMP Certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client contract requirements and communicate project status to senior management.
- Develop mobilization and logistics plans with the project team.
- Oversee all project documentation and archiving.
- Create and maintain logic-based schedules in Primavera P6.
- Administer subcontractor and vendor contracts.
- Manage change orders with clients and subcontractors/vendors.
- Review and approve subcontractor/vendor pay applications.
- Handle client pay applications and ensure timely collection of accounts receivable.
- Conduct internal cost control reporting and job cost forecasting.
- Lead Owners, Architects, and Contractors (OAC) meetings.
- Review and approve shop drawings and submittals.
- Evaluate and manage time and cost impacts related to ASIs, RFIs, and Addendums.
- Implement and oversee quality control programs in the field.
- Assist in supervising safety and environmental policies and reporting.
- Manage project closeout processes and assist with client warranty calls.
- Support the estimating team with project pursuits and bid day activities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to assistant project managers.
