We are seeking an Activities Director of our Assisted Living community – The Saab Residence.
- $50,000 to $64,000 annually based on skills and experience.
Activities Director - Assisted Living Community Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in recreation, health education or related field.
- 2 years of activities programming experience.
- Experience with older adults preferred.
Activities Director - Assisted Living Community Job Summary:
- Provide subject matter expertise to the management team regarding resident engagement and quality of life.
- Negotiate and manage community contracts such as staffing, contract labor, vendors and entertainers.
- Participate in the review of individual resident’s service plans and regularly documents progress.
- Participate in discharge planning with other members of the management team.
- Ensure Resident Programs meet all state, federal, and other regulations.
- Develop and implement creative and exciting Resident Programs.
- Manage volunteer program, including assisting with recruitment, training and supervising of volunteers.
- Manage daily, weekly and monthly calendar of events.
- Ensure marketing, promoting and communicating materials are of professional quality.
- Coordinate resident transportation for events outside of the community.
- Supervise Resident program assistants and the driver.
