School of Nursing - Field Placement Coordinator

Summary: 

D’Youville University and the Patricia H. Garman School of Nursing are excited to announce a grant-funded opportunity for a Mobile Field Placement Coordinator. This position is part of a HRSA grant aimed at establishing mobile nurse training units to enhance healthcare access in rural and underserved areas. The coordinator will play a vital role in interfacing with community stakeholders and faculty to ensure the success of this initiative.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with local fire departments to plan and schedule clinic days for pop-up clinics in conjunction with grant personnel and faculty.
  • Ensure that scheduling meets the learning needs of the Mobile Health Scholars and aligns with grant outcomes.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise in the field by working closely with faculty and the Project Director.

Requirements:

  • Master of Science in Nursing.
  • Registered Nurse in the State of New York or eligibility to acquire licensure.
  • Experience as faculty is preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, both in-person and through virtual and electronic means.
  • Knowledge of academic success principles.
  • A keen interest in supporting disadvantaged students (please include a personal statement in your cover letter).
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Access, and student information systems.

Work Remotely - Position is available for remote or hybrid working arrangements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,000.00 - $65,000.00 Annually
