We are looking to welcome a caring and dedicated Front Desk Receptionist to our dental practice. We are a privately owned, fee-for-service dental office that has been proudly serving generations of families for over 70 years. This full-time position entails working Tuesday-Friday, with no late nights or weekends.
The Ideal candidate is very proficient with technology and computers and knows how to multi-task.
*Responsibilities:
- Greet patients
- Maintain a professional and welcoming reception area
- Answer patient questions
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails
- Verify and update patient information
- Schedule patients for new and follow-up appointments
- Treatment plan presentation
- Submit for insurance pre-determinations
- Verify patient insurance over the phone and online
- New patient intake
- Send and check proper paperwork to patients using our software
- Prepare billing statements and insurance claims
- Process bills, invoices, and patient payments
- Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality

- Must be positive, friendly, hard-working, and enjoy working on a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and codes
- Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task
- Proficient with the computer and relevant software
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiar with general administrative and clerical procedures
