Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Job Description:
D1 Training Centennial Hills is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Head Strength and Conditioning Coach to lead our coaching team and deliver industry-leading workout experiences. As a Head Coach, you will be the face of our training facility, working directly with athletes of all ages and skill levels to help them achieve their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all classes, delivering the "D1 Way" experience, including proper attire, music, coaching cues, and session organization.
- Management of coaching staff: class schedule, coach 1 on 1 meetings, coach development, class audits, personal training audits, and oversee coach hiring process
- Conduct a minimum of 30 training sessions a week
- Conduct all client check-in’s to ensure client relationships and progress towards client goals
- Ensure client retention is at or above facility standard
- Supervise and train a team of coaches, ensuring all meet the D1 Level 1 Certification requirements.
- Mentor and develop the coaching staff through weekly meetings, educational initiatives, teambuilding, class and program evaluations.
- Maintain consistent quality control of training sessions through auditing and feedback.
- Stay up to date on the latest published programs and be ready to instruct/assist coaching staff in understanding the goals and overall mindset of each program
- Conduct assessments and goal-setting for athletes during the First Time Athlete (FTA) process to recommend the appropriate programs.
- Oversee personal training assignments: main point of contact for incoming leads, available for consultations, and coach assignment
- Organize and maintain training spaces, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and functionality of equipment.
- Represent D1 Training at community and marketing events such as competitions and combines.
- Provide feedback to the D1 Home Office regarding programming and success stories.
Qualifications:
- Primary CPT certification (CSCS preferred)
- Passion for coaching athletes of all ages, from youth (7 ) to adults.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to conduct high-energy group and personal training sessions.
- Certification or willingness to become D1 Level 1 Certified.
- A team player with a strong focus on creating an inclusive and empowering training environment
- Experience in group training, personal training, or similar roles is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Annual starting salary: From $45,000
- Additional earning potential through commissions and incentive bonuses:
- $20 for all new membership sales.
- 10% commission on new D1on1 and D1 Overtime package sales.
- 10% commission on personal training client re-ups.
- Auto-pay revenue bonus
- Paid Time Off (PTO) and potential benefits eligibility after six months.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time role with flexibility to meet the needs of our athletes and facility operations.
