Fitness Center Front Desk Manager

D1 Training – Bergen County is The Place for The Athlete! We are looking to fill a full-time Fitness Center Front Desk Supervisor. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK EVENING SHIFTS (3PM TO close).

In the Fitness Font Desk Manager role you will:

• - Nurture leads and set appointments for free trials and consultations.
• - Utilize GPS CRM system and the Mindbody application to track and communicate with leads, capture customer information, schedule appointments, etc.
• - Follow-up on social media messaging.
• - Track leads, contacts, sales, and other related sales data.
• - Attend and participate in marketing events such as competitions, combines, etc.
• - Meet with prospective customers in person to close sales for front-end offers and sales following free trial or duration-based programs.
• - Close both internal and external phone sales for marketing promotions.
• - Help create engaging organic social media content and help maintain the social media calendar.
• - Assure retail inventory accuracy
• - Perform related front desk duties; acting as the smiling face of the gym, greeting customers and prospective customers that come through the door, updating the facility bulletin board, etc.
• - Perform other light administrative duties as required (e.g., greeting customers, helping them check-in, light cleaning, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

• - Passion for helping people meet athletic, health, or wellness goals
• - 1 years of high ticket sales or fitness sales experience
• - Experience using business/office software (email, CRM, POS, Microsoft Office etc.)
• - Basic knowledge of common social media platforms
• - Ability to work later afternoon to evenings, and weekends
• - Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit or stand at a desk working on a computer and speaking to customers on the telephone for long periods. Able to lift up to 25 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• - Associates or Bachelors degree in business, digital marketing, communications, or related field
• - 2 years of sales experience
• - Experience selling high dollar fitness offerings
• - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• - Experience curating organic social media to drive engagement
• - Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets

- Working knowledge of CRM systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
