Job Summary:
As a Fitness Sales Consultant at D1 Training, you will be responsible for engaging with potential members, nurturing leads, and closing sales both in person and over the phone. You will work directly with prospects who are completing free workouts or promotional offers to convert them into long-term members. Your ability to build relationships, provide expert guidance, and confidently close deals will be critical to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with all in-person prospects to close sales for front-end offers and memberships.
- Conduct phone sales for marketing promotions, both internally and externally.
- Nurture leads and schedule free workout appointments or consultations when not in sales appointments.
- Consistently follow up with leads who have not yet visited the facility.
- Set appointments for the General Manager when necessary for the overall success of the organization.
- Maintain a high-energy and positive attitude daily.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and competitive drive to exceed sales goals.
- Ask the right questions to understand each prospect's needs and guide them toward the right membership decision.
- Make outbound calls and send messages to fresh leads, ensuring they schedule and attend their appointments.
- Confidently close deals and collect payment information.
- Stay coachable and implement feedback to improve sales performance.
Daily Responsibilities:
Beginning of the Day:
- Prepare the sales room for client meetings and sales transactions.
- Confirm all same-day appointments via calls and texts.
- Respond to inbound inquiries via a customer relationship management (CRM) system to maximize scheduling and attendance rates.
- Enter organic leads into CRM.
- Work through nurture sequences on all new leads.
- Ensure automated prospect messages are going out as scheduled.
- Engage with leads through social media (Facebook Messenger & Instagram DM) and schedule free workouts.
- Contact all new overnight leads promptly.
- Participate in role-playing exercises to sharpen sales skills.
Middle of the Day:
- Ensure all new clients are scheduled for their orientations.
- Process and update new client information in CRM.
End of the Day:
- Update Appointment Calendar and the D1 Training team with all appointment details.
- Complete nurture sequences for both paid and organic leads.
End of the Week:
- Submit an End-of-Week (EOW) report to the General Manager with detailed sales statistics.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- 60% of leads should schedule an appointment.
- 70% of leads should attend their scheduled appointment.
- 50% of leads who attend an appointment should convert to a membership.
- 20% of total leads should result in a closed sale.

- Proven experience in sales, preferably in fitness, health, or wellness industries.
