Job Summary
- Maximize Client Retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability. Oversee the process of checking in with our athletes daily.
- Lead regular coach meetings and provide feedback to coaches on coaching the D1 way
- Oversee all athletic programming and ensure we are giving our athletes the best product and experience possible
- Membership sales, the Head Coach will be involved in the sales and upsell process. Regular roleplaying will be involved! Sales commissions will be a nice bonus!
- Responsible for the hiring/firing/training/certification of all coaches.
- Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes. A D1 Coach must be dedicated to training and improving the lives of D1’s members Scholastic (ages 7-18), Adults, and Teams, by:
- Exhibiting passion, expertise, high energy, a positive and motivating attitude, strong character, and over-the-top customer service
- Starting and finishing workouts on time
- Assessing and aligning each member with the proper program
- Building and maintaining relationships with each D1 member
- Coaching group workouts, personal training, and teams
- Delivering accurate, industry-leading educational advice on strength, speed, and nutrition
- Teaching proper form and technique and keeping all our athletes safe
This position will start as an hourly role for the first three months, with the opportunity to transition to a salaried position upon successful completion of the 90-day probationary period.
Key Responsibilities for the Position
- Member Sales
- Maximize client retention through best-in-class service: coaching, training, nutrition, and accountability.
- Managing coaching staff
- Lead athlete events such as combines, community events
- Foster a positive, motivating environment for all athletes.
- Modify and adapt movements that are best suited for the individual at hand.
- Reduce an athlete's risk of injury by focusing on proper technique and movement patterns.
Qualifications
- Valid CPR/AED
- Proven training and coaching experience
- Athletic background
- Experience in Instructing classes of 20 clients
- Live in the area or seek to relocate immediately
- 2 years of strength and speed training experience in a high school, collegiate, or professional performance/fitness setting
- Preferred Certification: Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist from the National Strength & Conditioning Association- (CSCS from NSCA)
Salary : $27 - $30
